First grade classes.

Parents can help their children by doing the following:
¨ Read with your child each night.
¨ Talk with your child every night about what he/she did in school that day.
¨ Review your child's homework each night.
Reading
Each child is expected to read a minimum of two books per week.
At the end of each month , each child will receive a pizza certificate for the books read.
Our goal is for first grade students to read 10 books per month. At the end of the year our goal is for each child to have read a total of 100 books.
When you read to your child, please record the name of the book on their list. These books will also count toward the "100 Book Goal."
Valuable Information:
Conferences can be conducted before or after school hours.
