Welcome to the world of cyberspace! Many of you
are just beginning your journey into this vast space, containing a
plethora of resources for you and your students alike. This workshop is
intended for classroom teachers with little to no experience regarding the
effective development and
composition of classroom webpages and launching them to be viewed via the
World Wide Web. A classroom webpage has a numerous advantages
whereby teachers are allowed to better serve the needs of their students,
as well as communicate with parents/guardians regarding vital school/classroom issues/events. This workshop will teach you to develop a
content-rich classroom webpage that will allow you to utilize the power of
the World Wide Web within your current situation. Each subheading
will take you step-by-step in the creation of a high-quality webpage.
