All staff members attended convocation today at East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High School. The day focused on initiating our new Learning Framework, developed by the Curriculum and Instruction Department. Superintendent Beck also shared his vision for the upcoming year. Additionally, we recognized our Principals and Teachers of the Year. Congratulations to Kristie Leinthall, Principal of the Year from Acme Delco Elementary, and Dr. Anthony Martin, Teacher of the Year from East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High. We extend our gratitude to the faculty and staff of East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High for their outstanding work in hosting the event. Special thanks to the following churches for their invaluable assistance:

Tomorrow, August 12, 2024, CCCA will have a 2-hour delay for students only. If students cannot be picked up due to flooding, they should participate virtually. All staff members should report to work at their regular times.


CCCA will be in remote instruction for Friday, August 9th.


CCCA will be in remote instruction on Wednesday, 8/7, and Thursday, 8/8. Teachers will post assignments and will be available via email or Schoology.

Columbus County Schools will be closing today at 1pm for staff. CCCA will release today at 12PM for students. CCS will be virtual for staff and students on Wednesday, 8/7 and Thursday, 8/8. CCCA will be in remote instruction and staff will telework.

Due to the approaching storm, CCCA will dismiss students at 12 PM on Tuesday, August 6th.

Will be celebrating their 10th year anniversary Back To School Drive !!!
They are inviting all Children to come pick up a free backpack, school supplies, and enjoy the festivities.
Live Music! Food Vendors ! And More!
This year will not be a drive thru, you will have to physically arrive to the actual site to pick up back pack and school supplies.
All Children MUST be present to receive school materials and back pack.

Tonight during the July Board Meeting, Mr. Jesse E. Beck was sworn in as Superintendent.


CCCA’s Fred Mason named finalist for NCCAT Teacher of the Year award


Exciting news! On Monday, Ana Reese Blake and Kennedy Strickland signed contracts and were awarded the NC Future Teachers Scholarship, setting them on the path to becoming educators in Columbus County. 🐏🧡
The event celebrated their hard work and dedication, marking the start of their promising careers in education with scholarships to UNC Pembroke. Congratulations Ana and Kennedy! 🎓🌟
