What a "Superstar" night of Open House at Chadbourn Elementary. So proud of the huge turnout and the partnership that was made with our community. Together we will have a successful school year. #together

All staff members attended convocation today at East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High School. The day focused on initiating our new Learning Framework, developed by the Curriculum and Instruction Department. Superintendent Beck also shared his vision for the upcoming year. Additionally, we recognized our Principals and Teachers of the Year. Congratulations to Kristie Leinthall, Principal of the Year from Acme Delco Elementary, and Dr. Anthony Martin, Teacher of the Year from East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High. We extend our gratitude to the faculty and staff of East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High for their outstanding work in hosting the event. Shout out to Wards Station Church of God and Pastor Hooker for sponsoring a delicious breakfast and the awesome devotional service for the staff of CES!!!! This was a special way to begin the school year.

Chadbourn Elementary Superstar teachers are in high spirits as they prepare for the upcoming school year. This is our beginning of the year PD led by MCL's Shelia Spaulding and Brittany Huggins.

Columbus County Schools Leadership Retreat is underway....

Columbus County Schools SIT teams hard at work setting goals for 24-25.

HEARTS Foundation the largest and longest running school drive in Columbus County Will be celebrating their 10th year anniversary Back To School Drive !!! They are inviting all Children to come pick up a free backpack, school supplies, and enjoy the festivities. Live Music! Food Vendors ! And More! This year will not be a drive thru, you will have to physically arrive to the actual site to pick up back pack and school supplies. All Children MUST be present to receive school materials and back pack. Date: July 27 2024 Time: 3pm-6pm Address: 116 Miller street Chadbourn, NC Kid Zone Area will Include : Rock-wall Mechanical Bull Snow cone Popcorn Cotton candy Inflatables Obstacle Courses Foam Pit Fire Truck Tour

There will be no posted supply lists this year. Schools will provide all needed supplies. Students may wish to purchase items like notebooks, but required supplies will be given by the schools.
