It has been a busy week in Mrs. Darrow and Ms. Cotton’s class. This week we read a story Chrysanthemum and compared the number of letters in our names to Chrysanthemum. We also colored our name flower and described ourselves using one word.
Today was Johnny Appleseed’s birthday. We have been talking about apples all week and had an apple tasting with peanut butter and caramel. We took a survey to see which apple was their favorite and wrote about it.

Pre-K Went on a Bear Hunt and we found him and he brought us a snack!

Today pre-K at WTS went on a bear parade with their favorite stuffed animal and the wagon that they made as a home project. While we were on the parade we learned where the office was and met the office staff. We learned where kindergarten through second grade was and we learned where the gym was. We were cheered on by kindergarten through second grade students which really made us feel special. Great self esteem and community building experience.
