🚍✨ What an AMAZING day at HAES! ✨🚍 A huge thank you to Southeastern Community College, Columbus County Schools, and our incredible community partners for making Career Day on Wheels such a fantastic experience for our students today! 🙌 Our HAES students had an awesome time exploring different careers and learning about the many opportunities waiting for them in the future. 🌟👩‍⚕️👨‍🔧👩‍🏫 They were engaged, excited, and inspired all day long! We are so grateful for everyone who poured into our students and helped make this day so meaningful. ❤️ 📸 Stay tuned for lots of photos! 👀

HAES is thankful for Ms. Baker! Below is a note from her about this year's wonderful Celebrate the Arts Event! We are incredibly proud of 6th grader Christopher Donnelly for representing Hallsboro Artesia Elementary School at the Columbus County Schools Celebrate the Arts Festival this weekend! 🎨✨ Christopher participated in the Middle School Art Clinic, where students explored the unique assemblage style inspired by artist Joseph Cornell. Through this experience, he thoughtfully designed and created his own shadow box using a variety of found objects, textures, and layered imagery. From planning and sketching to constructing and refining his final piece, Christopher demonstrated creativity, focus, and artistic risk-taking throughout the entire process. His finished work is a beautiful reflection of both his imagination and the skills he developed during the clinic. ✨ In addition, Christopher was awarded Best of Show for Hallsboro/Artesia for his outstanding character figure sketches—an incredible accomplishment! ✨ A special thank you to Laura Bernstein for leading such a meaningful, inspiring Middle School Art Clinic experience for our students. Your guidance and passion for the arts made a lasting impact! We are so proud of you, Christopher! Your hard work, talent, and dedication truly shine! 💙 #CelebrateTheArts #StudentArtist #BestOfShow #ArtEducation #HallsboroArtesiaPride
