Today, our school conducted a brief safety drill as part of our participation in the Project ADAM program, which focuses on preparing staff and students to respond to a cardiac emergency. The purpose of this drill was to practice how we would respond quickly and effectively in the unlikely event of a sudden cardiac arrest at school. Students were safe at all times, and the drill was conducted in a calm and controlled manner. We share this information with you, so you are aware in case your child mentions the drill at home. Activities like this help us maintain a safe environment and ensure that our staff is well-prepared to respond to emergencies. We will continue to conduct periodic drills throughout the remainder of the school year to reinforce these procedures and ensure continued preparedness.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Nurse Karen at https://www.remind.com/join/nursekj or 910-212-8030.

Thank you for your continued support.

🐾❤️HAES Beta Students Making a Difference! ❤️🐾 Some of our amazing HAES Beta Students chose service over free time—and we couldn’t be more proud! They spent their Friday afternoon cleaning up Elizabeth Brinkley Park and helping prepare for our annual community egg hunt by hiding eggs for families to enjoy. 🐣🌸 Because of their hard work, the park was cleaner, brighter, and ready for a fun-filled event for our community! 👏 Thank you, Beta students, for showing leadership, responsibility, and what it truly means to serve others.
