At TCS, Mrs.Jones' middle school Guidance elective classes presented an Anti-bullying Campaign, Cool to be Kind, for grades K-8. After the presentation students signed an Anti-bullying Pledge to promise to make our school a safer and more welcoming place.

CCCA English 3 students creating a poster collage of their Transcendental Poet. They collected specific items from nature, wrote their own poem, and gathered background information on the poet.










We are honoring Hispanic Heritage Month. During library sessions with Ms. Worley at WTS, Kindergarten students enjoyed the book "All Around Us" by Adrian Garcia. They created their own quilts depicting the things they cherish in their families and lives. In 1st and 2nd Grade, students listened to "Pepe and the Parade" by Tracey Kyle, creating floats that symbolize their families and interests. Meanwhile, in 3rd and 4th Grade, students engaged with "How Alma Got Her Name" by Juan Martinez, sharing their favorite aspects of their names and the reasons behind them.
