Mrs. Walton’s third grade students at WTS used VR sets this week to look at the life cycle of a plant.

At TCS 8th grade students in Ms. Williamson’s ELA class are working on analyzing and evaluating arguments in Unit 4 to create their own arguments. To practice their skills, students were tasked to argue if their assigned food was categorized under a soup, salad or sandwich. Each group had to construct a claim with evidence and reasoning, generate possible counterclaims and provide a rebuttal to any counterclaims. Once students finalized their thoughts, groups took turns presenting to the class to open the floor for any counterclaims and discussions.
