Our 8th graders are getting a head start on meeting the Healthful Living Essential Standards for high school graduation by learning CPR! Thanks to Mr. Gore's expert instruction, they are gaining valuable life-saving skills that could make a difference in an emergency. This important training prepares them not only for graduation but also for real-world situations. Way to go, 8th graders!
🎶 Exciting News! 🎹 Mrs. Kinlaw's Elementary Music Class has been selected as a recipient of the Bright Ideas Grant, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Thanks to this generous funding, we have been able to purchase a Yamaha Keyboard Lab that will enhance our students' musical learning experience. Next week is full of exciting events! 🎶 On Monday, join us for the K-4 music programs as our students showcase their talents. 🎤 On Tuesday night, come out for Parent Night to discuss your student's Semester 1 progress, NC Check-in data, and IReady results with their teachers. Plus, don’t miss the special UNC Chapel Hill interactive art exhibit set up in the gym! 🎨 On Thursday night, our 5th-8th grade students will perform at West Columbus High School.
🎄🌟 FFA Members gathered to celebrate the holiday season with games and lots of festive cheer. It was a wonderful time of laughter and making memories together. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year!
