🌿 This past weekend, 2 teams from West Columbus School proudly represented our community at the state Envirothon competition for the very first time! Our teams showcased their knowledge and passion for environmental science, tackling challenges in forestry, soils, wildlife, aquatics, and current environmental issues. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and teamwork. Great job, teams! 🌎👏

Softball & Baseball games start at 4 PM — admission is just $6.
Baseball is on Field 6 (enter through the 904 gate).
Softball is on Field 1 (parking via 904 gate or Pireway Rd gate by the tennis courts).
Concessions will be available at both upper and lower fields.

The makeup games for both baseball and softball have been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 7 at 4:00 PM. Games will be held at Central.
Our PreK through 5th grade students had a blast yesterday afternoon at the dances! The PreK–2nd graders kicked things off with a fun-filled Sock Hop, followed by 3rd–5th lighting up the dance floor at the neon party. Great music, big smiles, and lots of energy made it an afternoon to remember. Special thanks to everyone who helped make it happen!

Columbus County Schools will be working with Columbus County Health Department to offer our current 6th graders (rising 7th Graders) the state required Meningococcal and Tdap vaccines ON CAMPUS May 2, 2025. Parents will need to complete the permission/consent forms that were sent home prior to our spring break. This is a great opportunity offered to our students which will save parents time and money. Being proactive will help parents to avoid long lines, waiting for appointments and will prevent the student’s exclusion from school. These Immunizations are in accordance with Immunization Law GS 130A-155. If you have questions, please contact our School Nurse.
