Update for K–8 Families! Starting this Friday, students in Grades K–8 will no longer need to bring bookbags to school. As we wrap up the school year, this helps keep things simple and light for everyone. Thanks for your support!

🎉 Last night, our FFA chapter officers proudly represented us at the Three Rivers Federation Banquet, where we were honored with several Federation awards! It was a great evening celebrating the accomplishments of our young chapter and fellow members in the Federation. 🙌

We’re proud to celebrate our outstanding students who were recognized at last night’s board meeting for earning the prestigious CTA Gold Key Award and the A.R. Ammons Poetry Award! Their talent, dedication, and creativity continue to inspire us all. Congratulations on this achievement!

🌿 This past weekend, 2 teams from West Columbus School proudly represented our community at the state Envirothon competition for the very first time! Our teams showcased their knowledge and passion for environmental science, tackling challenges in forestry, soils, wildlife, aquatics, and current environmental issues. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and teamwork. Great job, teams! 🌎👏

Get ready for the action! The 1st round of the Williams Township Invitational Tournament kicks off May 12 at the Tabor City Complex! Softball & Baseball games start at 4 PM — admission is just $6. Baseball is on Field 6 (enter through the 904 gate). Softball is on Field 1 (parking via 904 gate or Pireway Rd gate by the tennis courts). Concessions will be available at both upper and lower fields. Who's ready for some tournament excitement?

The makeup games for both baseball and softball have been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 7 at 4:00 PM. Games will be held at Central.

Our PreK through 5th grade students had a blast yesterday afternoon at the dances! The PreK–2nd graders kicked things off with a fun-filled Sock Hop, followed by 3rd–5th lighting up the dance floor at the neon party. Great music, big smiles, and lots of energy made it an afternoon to remember. Special thanks to everyone who helped make it happen!

Happy School Lunch Hero Day! Today we give a *huge* shoutout to our incredible WCS lunch heroes! From early mornings to busy lunch hours, they work tirelessly to make sure our students are fed with healthy meals and warm smiles.
